Admissions Process for Kindergarten through Grade 6
Step One: Come and Visit Us!
You are welcome to come and visit us any time, just call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Step Two: Complete an Admission Application
By completing an admission application, you will officially be added to our admissions list for the coming school year. You will then be notified and offered the opportunity to be tested when openings become available. A registration fee of $160 is required prior to the test date. This fee is only refundable if NCCS does not accept a student for admission. You may download the application for grades K-12 HERE (WORD) or HERE (PDF).
Step Three: Admissions Testing
All prospective students are tested academically. At the time of testing, we ask that parents supply copies of previous report cards and standardized test results. Testing will be conducted at the Grammar School and will take between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the grade and ability level of the student. A non-refundable testing fee of $100 is required prior to the test date.
Step Four: Parent Interview
An interview will be scheduled between the administrator and both parents. The interview will take place at the school and will take up to one hour.
Step Five: Notification
Within a few weeks of the parent interview, you will receive written notification of our decision.
Step Six: Enrollment Paperwork
If a student is accepted, enrollment paperwork will be mailed along with the acceptance letter. Once we receive this completed enrollment paperwork, your student will officially be enrolled in NCCS.
